I used to love The Wiggles (and we're not talking when I was a kid -- I mean between seventeen and nineteen years old, I loved them). My friends (as gag gifts, of course) got me a multitude of dolls (Greg, Captain Feathersword, the actual feathersword, Henry the Octopus).

I'd still love them if Greg were with them today, but sadly, he had to leave. And it broke my pathetic little heart. I haven't given his replacement a chance because Greg was my absolute favorite. And now I'm debating whether or not I should be embarrassed by this comment. -_-

I honestly never noticed a difference. Are you in larger anime fandoms and smaller non-anime fandoms? Because fandom side can make it harder to find the good stuff no matter what medium/genre it is.

I agree. Hedwig's dead is the one that affected me the most as well for the same reason. That, and animal deaths in stories like these always seem a bit... I dunno. They have nothing to do with the conflict. She probably didn't care about the whole wizard war and just wanted to be with Harry, y'know? I just wanted to scream 'Leave her out of it!'
...
But then again, that was probably the whole point. Nobody was safe at this point in the story. Nobody at all.

It's an easy joke to make because there are some similarities between Bonnie and the actress who plays Lily. And it doesn't help that Ginny, in the movies, ties his shoelaces and gives him cookies.

Oh man, I'd love to know the story behind those two (like, what happened between them to make Keith get rid of the book?). I'm the same way with the books I have -- one in particular almost made me cry; a dedication from 1911, from a parent to their child, as a Christmas present.
