I'm going to make this short and sweet. This is the HORRIBLE ABOMINATIONS stream.

These movies are absolutely terrible. You will come to this stream so that when your friends say "Oh, Birdemic is the worst movie ever made!" you can say "NO. No, it isn't. Trust me."

If you thought ANY OTHER MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE was bad, wait until you see Back Woods and After Last Season. The movies aren't too long (though, AFTER LAST SEASON pushes the boundaries on filling time with pointless bullshit), so if you make it through, I'll have something fucking awesome to watch afterward. I was thinking about George Romero's forgotten masterpiece about 1970's Renaissance fair motorcycle jousters called Knightriders, but it's 145 minutes of dudes jousting on motorcycles and other shenanigans, so I don't know. We'll see.

Whenever you are celebrating a religious or personal celebration, do you prepare any special personal foods for the occasion?

To me and my family, we once served Garlic Bread among ourselves during the fasting month, that is until the special bread we ised went out of stock about 5 years ago. Now we prepare some Roti Jala and be done with it. I miss the garlic bread...

What TV/Movie/Book/Games do you enjoy where you don't really like the main character (or even a major ongoing plot point).

For me, I really dislike Sam on Supernatural. I think it is because I started watching S6 when he was such an asshole and it tainted my view of when him when I marathoned seasons 1-5. I don't hate him (he is my third favorite character) but he does tend to annoy me.

I also don't really like Rose in Doctor Who. She wasn't awful but, meh. I preferred Donna and Martha.

Rachel Rising and Comixology

So I just got caught up with Terry Moore's Rachel Rising and shit am I enjoying it. And I usually can't take horror in any genre. Any other fans here?

Also, I have a question about Comixology. I got all the issues up until now from a file-sharing site, but I want to buy them from now on for my ipad. The thing is, I already have an app for reading Comic books, and I don't want to install Comixology. Can I buy an issue on my laptop and transfer it to my ipad manually?

Actually, TL:DR: what kind of file does Comixology sell? 'Cause if it's .cbr, or cbz or whatzit, I can work with that.

Inspired by Case's riddle thread from a few days ago, I propose a lateral thinking puzzles thread!

I am guessing most of you know what those are, but they're basically a kind of riddle. Someone give an unusual scenario, and you have to guess how/why it happened. You can get more information only by asking yes/no questions. (e: and if you already know one, don't give out the answer! That's poor form. :P)
