sorry about this, I just couldn't reply yesterday 'cause it was 2 in te morning and I had to go to sleep... I wanted to say thanks for the advice I got! Also, I didn't mean to sound like a dick or anything with my 'reviews', I just happen to have a short attention span lately and I need to gather to my own gaming needs very precisely.

This said, if anyone is interested in giving some recs, the games I've liked in my gaming life seem to be mostly the Metal Gear Solid games and the Final Fantasy games. I think it's the pretty graphics, the good OST and the open world elements that make me happier. I also remember loving Vagrant Story. I also played other games, but these are the ones that I always remember, because playing them relaxed me so much.

So well, thanks again for yesterday, I think I'm going to also check the Batman games? I had no idea they existed even, i've been out of the loop forever...

Sooooo this season has apparently been hinting at a rainbow power being inside the plot device box. They're already selling 'rainbow power' toys, so there's no doubt it's going to be something rainbow-y. Already some bronies are getting upset about it, because it's "G1 crap" and blahblah. I think it'd be a neat little nod to the original series if it is. Megan next, yes. The wank would be glorious.

Match a show with an appropriate song!

Match the shows you like with a song that you feel encapsulates, or serves as a metaphor for, or just feels appropriate to, the show's themes/atmosphere/storyline/situation. You know how The Wire uses the song "Way Down In The Hole" for its theme song? Or how the best fanvids use songs that are appropriate to the situation the vid is about? Kind of like that.

If you want, you could also write a verse of the song in your comment to demonstrate the part that fits the show best. And of course, it doesn't have to be a show. It could be a movie, or even a book, or whatever.

Obvious collorary: the show's original theme song is obviously not allowed.

I know people tend to have very different things they like about hurt/comfort fics, and different motives for reading them, and prefer different types of fics with different focuses or styles. What kinds of things do you gravitate towards the most?

I've recently gone back to revisiting all the cheesy Eurodance of the 90's. That should be shameful, really, but I can't seem to care. Corona, La Bouche, Melodie MC, E-Type, Twenty4Seven, etc. just makes me happy.
