Where Have You Been All My Life?

Have I done one of these recently? I hope not! What is something (movie/game/tv/food/book/place to visit) that has that you have recently discovered but has been around for a while?

I watched the Evil Dead trilogy for the first time last night. I was going to just watch Evil Dead 2 for a podcast I listen to but figured I should watch the first one at least. I watched it and found it quite enjoyable.

The second one was amazing and really funny. I enjoyed it so much, I decided to watch Army of Darkness. Best decision of the week for me. That was the most campy, hilarious movie I have ever seen. I was in tears watching all the skeleton battle gags.

I can't believe it took me this long to watch those movies! I enjoyed Army of Darkness so much I may give it a rewatch tonight.

Childfree versus not wanting kids?

So I most likely don't want kids. I love them, but am far too selfish with my own time. :P Plus, as much as I like them, I've never known quite how to discipline them or even always relate to them. Some are easier than others, of course.

Anyway, I've noticed a lot of other childfree people just don't seem to like kids. They go as far as calling them "crotchfruit" and also seem to hate their friends for having them. So where is the line drawn? Is it childfree if you like kids, just don't want any of your own?

If you remember someone asking about system requirements a while back, that was me, and Dragon Age Origins does indeed run on my laptop! It doesn't run BEAUTIFULLY but I can at least play. (It DOES seem to require six or seven clicks to buy or sell an item, though, for the first several times it just brings up the circle with the 'x' in the middle but not the coin icon on the side. Is this a fixable issue?)

Anyway, I don't want spoilers (I'm already spoiled enough, lol) but I would like any tips y'all could give me on playing the game! General stuff like "definitely go this talent tree" or "always have this party member" or what have you would be very helpful--I'm not entirely at sea because the mechanics are like a more primitive WoW, but I know I'm missing a lot.

This probably only hugely entertains me, but my character is a Daelish elf who's a blatant Tauriel expy, and you know how there's a DLC quest where you meet a dog? And he's ill/poisoned and you help cure him and he imprints on you and loves you forever with puppy love? ...yeah. I named him Kili.

My friend has gotten involved in something that could very likely be a pyramid scheme or scam. It's not something that's completely horrible, more like something you waste money on when you see an infomercial... but it's becoming an issue.

She's been posting about it constantly on facebook, and it's annoying but my response has been, "Okay, whatever you need to do to make money. You do you." That was until she started messaging me about it personally.

She's a long time friend but I was kind of pissed about it, and part of me felt oddly guilty because she has supported me in the past (I've never been involved in anything like this but she's supported me in my own work.) I just... don't know what to do about it? I don't want to hide her facebook posts because I do care about her, I just don't want anything to do with this "business."

I did already tell her I'm not interested, I just really need to rant about this though because I'm tired of it.
