The theme of the night is David Carradine, but for tonight's announcement I'm gonna do a special feature on the ladies of these fine films! So here we go.

Circle of Iron - There is one.

Death Race 2000 - Simone Griffeth plays alongside Carradine. Wow I just looked at her wiki page and she hasn't been in much, but I like these titles. Swamp Girl, Delusion, Hot Target. I'm gonna have to watch these all. Anyway, it also says she was originally billed above Sylvester Stallone. I guess they changed it?? That sucks. She's a pretty important character and gets more screentime than him. I like all the women in this movie, even if is about a race of death in the year 2000. There's also a badass rebel granny and a talkshow host and some fangirls that I wanna totally cosplay.

Legend of Korra Question

I'm just curious, but was it ever explained why Korra was able to bend other elements so young (iirc when the White Lotus came to her home, she earthbended and firebended)? From the information ATLA gave us, most of the other avatars had no idea they were the chosen ones until they were around 16 and then that's when they started learning about the other elements. This has been bugging me for some reason and I was just wondering if there was something official said about it

I'm going out with friends tonight and they just told me another friend of theirs is gonna be there. He's a complete idiot douchebag. He's always rude to everyone, including his girlfriend, who I seriously don't understand why is still with him. He's the type of guy who worships Neil Strauss and occasionally drops an unfunny offensive joke just to see if he gets some validation. I hate his guts, but I don't want to feel forced to not go out with my friends because of this jerk.

It's sort of a mixed group, where I am friends with a couple of girls who are friends with some other people and those are friends with this piece of trash... UGH!

How to stop missing someone?

So, a while back, I had a major, friendship-ending falling out with a former close friend. (We're both partially to blame, and the details themselves aren't important.) I've spoken to her briefly since then, and all indication is that she hasn't stopped the behavior on her side that led to the falling out. Being friends again would just be out of the question.

But I still kind of miss her. We were friends for much longer than we haven't been, and I'm wondering if I'm just nostalgic for the stuff we used to talk about and do (creative projects, stuff like that), but it's getting kind of frustrating. I've even dreamed a couple times about meeting up somewhere, and after a lot of tension and anger, we start talking again.

And I'd seriously like that to stop, because we canNOT be friends again. I know that intellectually, and we'll just start fighting again and it'd be a disaster, so I'd like to know if there's any way to stop missing someone you KNEW was toxic for you.

Leave your politics and SJW out of this pls. I mean stuff like:

I can't stand people that leave shitty tips or try to weasel their way out of paying their fair share of it. And I say this as another diner, not a server. People who are like, "I'm gonna take off a dollar because the soda was too watery, and another dollar because the restaurant was too cold, and..." That wasn't the server's fault. Fuck you.
