Whoa, the GC is on the first page. Is this some sorcery that only happens early in the lifespan of a post, or just the way it is today? (I rarely get here so early, as you can probably tell.)

Are you usually satisfied by it, or is it more often a letdown?

I find it to be about half and half...Sometimes you get a gem, and sometimes it's a bit less discriminating. (Like, I'll ask for 'gen fic focused on character z' and people will rec whatever comes to mind, maybe without quality control, lol)

Good news from my tests! BP was fine and doc said glucose was nothing to panic over yet, but ordered an a1c for better look. Came back at 6.6 which he said is the high end of fine. But this was all totally a wakeup call that I needed. Many thanks to my employer for their coerced incentive.

Also I asked about fitbit's a couple days ago but got no response so I thought I'd try again. Flex and Force. seem like a chore so I'm thinking about Zip if anyone has thoughts or opinions?

Anyone find that when they see someone else doing their job, they're extra judgmental? Or, conversely, overly lenient?

Ever since being a receptionist, I've found I can be both. Cranky receptionists irritate the hell out of me, because I KNOW if I treated my customers like that, I'd get chewed out of the next pay period. But I also know sometimes someone comes in with a million questions just after your boss has told you he needs a last minute report in five minutes... still, I judge myself if I realize I didn't brace myself and smile anyway.

You know how some of your favorite shows, which were awesome once upon a time, can become really crappy later? Well, sometimes you just shake your head and enjoy the show overall anyway and only complain about the crappy part, but sometimes, you resent the whole show for failing you. Do you guys have any experiences of this?

Secret 1 - Daft Punk

Not Secret: I love this album to death. It came out when I was going through a really difficult time in my life, and it just means so much to me. I don't want to say it 'saved my life', but it calmed me down before I did anything regrettable to myself.

But, I just CAN'T like "Doin' it Right". Compared to the rest of the album, I thought it was boring. When I heard it, I thought "Horizon" fit better. "Doin' It Right" just seemed to simplistic. I feel like a bad fan, because it seems like it's everyone's favourite track.
