'80's Post-Apocalyptic Stream Extravaganza: SATURDAY AT 6pm EST

Prompted by a secret about a month ago regarding the fabulous The Quiet Earth, I will finally be streaming films from one of my personal favorite genres: '80's post-apocalyptic.

First up, of course, will be The Quiet Earth. I've only seen the film once, but I remember it being eerie and excellent all around. It's about a man who wakes up to find himself utterly alone in the world. I hope the OP of the secret and anyone who was interested in the film can join us.
Then, things take a campier turn America 3000. In the future, women rule and men are kept as slaves or breeding stock. But, one man and his boyfriend escape slavery to found their own tribe of men. Can men and women learn to love each other again and to live together as equals? FIND OUT! IN AMERICA 3000! It's a very fun movie, and less offensive than one might expect from the synopsis. If you like women kicking ass, you will like this.

Then, if I'm still feeling it, we can watch a faux-post-apocalyptic movie. In Prisoners of the Lost Universe, three morons people are transported to parallel universe through their own gross incompetence where things are pretty weird, man, and they have to fight to survive. Lucky that handy man/kendo champion fell through to the other universe too, huh? The races and creatures that live in the parallel universe are wonderfully creative and interesting. The ensemble cast the main characters collect through his journey are all great. Click that link and look at the box art and tell me that doesn't look amazing. Because, trust me, it's amazing.

I've got writer's block and it's damn annoying. I've looked at a million writing prompts sites and none of them seem useful for me. I've looked through kink wiki and other kink lists without much success. Aaand I'm pretty sure most of my friends are already annoyed at my asking for prompts. Sooo, friendly people of fandom secrets, give me writing prompts? Weird and/or kinky if possible! Anything except rape and scat.

Is anyone on FS from Amsterdam/visited Amsterdam? I'll have a layover there and I wanted to know what/where I should visit/do, particularly because I will be there at night (not trying to get raped, mugged, lost, etc.). Any places good for a Dutch breakfast (nothing expensive)? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can't help you, since I was there during the day. I was just grateful to to have a nice shower at the airport! One other thing, if you're a gardener and American: don't be tempted by the shop selling flower bulbs. Regardless of what the vendors say, you won't be allowed to take them through Customs.
