I had a really nice few days of sunshine, got a lovely card from a teacher who's going on maternity leave this summer, and one of my secrets made the #1 spot this week on F!S (which has never happened before and I always thought it'd be cool if it did). I also finally got to enjoy a bowl of the cereal I've been craving for a while now.

What are some things you thought you would never grow out of/stop doing?

Mine is Supernatural. I thought I would always love that show and all the fanfic it produces. Well, after about 5 years I was done.

Also World of Warcraft. Played it for several years (including being a guild and raid leader) but after Mists came out I just stopped playing. It did not help most of my friends did as well.

I'm so sick of being told Misophonia doesn't exist and that it's just called 'being annoyed'. I know what having annoyances feels like. I have pet peeves. My reaction to certain sounds/visual cues is completely different. I don't feel like mentally I'm being attacked when I'm annoyed. I don't start to get angry or disgusted or start to sweat when I'm annoyed. I don't start to panic or feel an intense violent rage when I am annoyed. Please stop telling me I can just 'get over it'. I wish I could. I wish I didn't feel like ripping the skin off of my face whenever someone eats too loudly or smacks on gum. It's not *fun*, it's not *magical*

There were a couple threads about it the other day and someone said to make a post later and they'd explain it. People kind of explained it before but I'm still a little confused about a few things.

- Is the diamond one platonic or romantic? I've seen people say both.
- Someone said all the ships were monogamous but what about the OT3 one? It's kind of by definition not monogamous if there are three people in it. Are all three equally involved with each other, or is it just one person in a relationship with two and those two aren't also in a relationship with each other?
- I've seen people say the traditional "love" one and the hatesex one are considered romantic and the other two are platonic, but then I've also seen people say all four are romantic. Which is it?
- How can hatesex be romantic? My mind automatically goes to people who are just fucking but aren't actually in a relationship and in fact hate each other. Or are they actually in a relationship, it's just a fucked up/dysfunctional/unhealthy one?

I know have other questions but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment. Help, Homestuck fans?

Basically, looking for individual characters who are great friends to their friends, not duos/trios who are super-close and stuff.

Ugh some pissy little anon on Tumblr is getting under my skin. They're going into this one shipping tag and reporting artwork from artists so it gets deleted. They've deleted this one fanartist's stuff multiple times because they instructed people on how to ask tumblr on how to get their stuff back. The tag's been spammed too. And Tumblr is no help with this shit. They don't even have a good blocking system in place.

Why do people do this shit? Like who has the time of day to be this fucking petty because they don't like a ship?

Weirdly specific tropes/elements you love using

We've had so many threads about the tropes you love to see in fiction. What about the ones you love to use? What odd little things crop up over and over in the stuff you write/draw/create?

A few of my weirdly specific ones:
- Characters getting really shy about telling a coworker or teammate "I consider us friends/family"
- Platonic (or just "we are not in good enough health to do anything non-platonic right now") cuddling in hospital beds
- Characters being briefly afraid that they're dreaming or hallucinating when the person they're pining over makes a move on them, and then deciding that "This must be really happening, because when I daydream about it I at least have some game, as opposed to turning into a fumbling idiot as I appear to have done now."
