Gail Simone Vs Red Sonja

so I'm reading a webcomic from about a month back, and there was a reference in one of the comments about how gail simone will be working on a new red sonja comic

now I don't tend to read those comics, so this might have already happened, but if not I need to know, can this be done? gail simone is awesome and all, but fixing red sonja? that's an uphill battle for any writer and I just can't see how it could be done

if this is already happened, someone please let me know if she pulled this off, otherwise I'd be interested to know what you think she could do

What are some little fanfic things you hate?

I hate writers who put filler words when writing the dailogue of people who don't use them. Sherlock is not going to be saying "Ummm, Uhhhh" when speaking.

This might be an odd question... but I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with corsets? Specifically, the purchasing of. How does sizing work, where are reliable places or websites to buy them, just... anything. I'm utterly baffled.

also, are corsets always expensive? Because when I went clicking around, the prices were... pricy, and I don't have the largest budget, so.

I'm trying to order trouser hangers but I can't find the ones I'm looking for. They are mostly made of wood but the hanger part is a wood bar that that pops in and out of a metal bracket so the pants don't move on the hanger. Anyone know what these are called?

Secret 1 - Femslash

I briefly wrote fanfic and drew artwork for a male slash ship that was in a large fandom. Even though I'm a lesbian, I figured "oh well, I'll just read the romance and have them be cute in artwork. I'll get to read stories about gay people written by women since there's a dearth of femslash." (It didn't actually cut it.) I still wrote femslash, since I love it and felt an obligation.

Now that I'm out of that fandom though? I miss the comments. I only get one comment on a work that would've gotten tons more. I only get hundred-ish notes on tumblr for art that would've hit thousands on tumblr if it were dudes.

I'm one of those that complain about the lack of femslash... but... I don't know whether straight women are just easier to please or what because I'm sick of not getting the same level of appreciation. It's depressing.

I'm not going to quit, but damn, where's the love?
