Silly title I know! It is a serious concern, however. I've been in a relationship with a man for half a decade now who recently cheated on me. He said it was a one night stand and he regretted it, but ever since he fessed up about it, and as I learned, right after it happened, he's been cumming faster than he ever has in our entire relationship. He's also been talking far dirtier than he ever has in the past as well. It seems to...lack intimacy, if that makes any sense. I talked with him about it, and he told me it was because he "loved me more/Loves me more than he ever has" ever since the 'accident', so he in turn is more attracted to me.

I confided in someone about this, and they told me it sounds more like it's because he he only sees me as a sexual outlet now/is thinking about the other woman when we have sex/doesn't care about me enough to hold off due to well...cheating obviously.

Truth be told I have no sexual experience outside of this relationship (We are not that young, either) Should I be worried about this? It's already been hard enough trying to get over his betrayal. [I just really need to rant, so thought that a thread for all of us who feel intense hate for some people would do good]

...are mean to teachers for no reason.

I used to go to a boarding school. I still have friends there, so I visit and I hear what's going on there. Anyway, there's a history teacher. He's lovely, mid-thirties, not a great teacher, but not horrible either. He's a bit awkward and has a tendency to ramble, but he's super-enthusiastic (especially about planes and tanks etc.). He also makes a lot of markings on tests and essays, most of them that make little sense (like he would switch around two words, which since my language has mostly free word order, makes only a tonal difference), but he was fair with grades. And generally my class liked him.

Then there's the new students who came this semester, who seem to be way more immature than previous generations. Or at least immature in a different way. We're talking about 16-year-old people here. While with most of the previous generations things calmed down after the first couple weeks , these people are still acting like it's a pyjama party; they're shouting, screaming, running about in the middle of the night, keeping their doors open so everyone will hear, smoking in the balcony, there's one couple who makes out EVERYWHERE (including hallways and cafeteria, I hate that kind of people), and at least one of them writes horrible poetry (this is a writing school, so bad offence).

Anyway, these people have apparently caused the history teacher some trouble. He had actually shouted at them at one point, and he usually never raises his voice.
This week there was an incident. There's two versions about it. Either these new students had been acting worse than usual, or someone said something very mean (no word about what exactly). Either way this caused the history teacher to cry.

And I'm just furious. Don't these fucking selfish brats realize that teachers are PEOPLE with FEELINGS?!

It's not like I could do anything. So I'm just sitting here, fuming. >:(

Stupidest Thing You've Ever Hear Out of a Doctor

Let me be clear that I don't have any kind of grudge against the medical profession. It's just that I have had so many bad decisions made and advice given by doctors over the years. Nothing extremely damaging, but still idiotic.

For example, I told my family doctor that prevacid wasn't working as well for me anymore, and she told me to go on prilosec instead. I was green for a month under this advice until I saw a GI who told me that prilosec is *weaker* than prevacid. The same went with my anxiety meds -- my family doctor told me I needed to ween off klonopin, when I finally got my frazzled ass into a psychiatrist's office, he said I shouldn't have stopped and I should be on more. He was right.

Said doctor has also prescribed my father meds so strong for his diabetes that he kept getting close to passing out from low blood sugar until she could be convinced that he needed a lower dose.

And finally: throughout my childhood I had a history of severe constipation. Very very severe. We're talking a month+. My mother took me to a ton of doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with me, and back then they were far less likely than now to say, "Honestly I have no idea." (I don't want to get into extra details about my condition, but to this day I can't find anything like it in medical literature, and now doctors will actually say, "yeah I don't know. That's weird". But it got much better with puberty anyway, thank God.) One doctor actually had the nerve to tell my mother that she was imagining things and that I was sneaking off and pooing while she wasn't paying attention.

Just...commiserate with me, if you wish, about bad doctors and bad medical advice.
