I remember a long conversation about that scene between me, my sister and her boyfriend about this scene, on the way back from seeing Toy Story 3. The boyfriend assumed that the little girl actually replaced Lotso herself and didn't deserve to have the real one back; my sister and I were convinced that her parents realized they fucked up by not remembering her toys and bought a new Lotso and convinced her it was the same one.

Either way there's no reason she couldn't have two Lotsos.

Really? I'd have to disagree with you there -- I think that "Complacency of the Learned" was supposed to be such awful reading material, Rose had to resort to the dark arts in order to get people to buy it in post-scratch Earth.

I think it's because Rose's fiction reminds me of how I wrote when I was thirteen.

Dude, that would be AWESOME. One of my favorite things in a game ever is the Anju/Kafei quest in Majora's Mask, after all. And one of the best quests in DA2 was setting up Aveline with her hubby. I'M ON BOARD. LET ME DO THIS MORE, GAME DEVS.

Although I'd probably also want to romance someone in my party, too.

Lots of people like apocalyptic, post-apocalyptic and dystopian things. I don't see how someone could think that makes you hate civilization. Maybe you could try explaining that it isn't any different than liking magical fantasy or scifi things - people can like tLotR and HP without wanting Sauron or Voldemort to appear, or Star Wars without wanting an evil empire to take over the planet.

I recently looked for Commodus/Lucilla and found nothing.

Btw, I don't think "Daddy Issues" counts as an excuse at all. I love Commodus as a character, but if he was real I'd probably hate his guts.

I think you are right that he is the best girl for her. And I want to be happy. But I can't seem to stop shipping her and Sam. Yes, Sam was horrible to her. Yes, she deserves better. But I fell in love with the ship even before it was canon, and now I just can't seem to stop.

I'm the same way, anon. I'm attracted to both actual real people and drawn/written characters, but live action characters or celebrities? Nope. I'm not sure why, but I don't think it's that huge a deal.

(Oh, and I'm not sure why you chose a Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei background for this secret, but I approve of your taste in anime.)
