I had a bad fight with an ex-coworker and all the time lately I've noticed her (rare) first name in the credits of the shows I'm watching, leading me to realize I'm still not over it. I am still very angry and upset about what she did to me.

I haven't really been involved in fandom for about ten years now. The glorydays of 2006-7 is long gone. Sometimes, though, I go looking for old favourites, but these days I'm just as likely to get a 404(?) message or similar, as I am to get what I was searching for.

At the moment I've got "Shadows of the mind" and "Winter of our discontent: part 1" by sweetfires stuck in my head. I'd really like to discuss a possible illustration for a scene out of the latter story with her, but unfortunatly there is no way of contacting her.

I cannot understand how to add an outside link on your page (like making a link redirecting people to your AO3 account, for example). I read the F.A.Q. and it explains you need to select "redirecting link" on a scroll-down menu, but when I'm on "add a page" there is no option to do so?

* How did you decide to self publish instead of traditional publishing?

* Do you outsource editing? If so, do you pay for it?

* Do you outsource your cover design, or do it yourself?

* If you do it yourself, what resources do you use... like do you just fool around with stock photography and GIMP or what?

* If you outsource the cover design, how much does it cost you?

* Have you ever approached an artist and commissioned artwork for your book?

* I know publishing books isn't about getting rich, but I'm really curious... how much do you earn per month?

* Do you tell friends and family about your self published books?

What do you order at bars?

Went out to one last night, one that claims to be a pseudo club/bar (what even is the difference?) and I wasn't quite sure what to order. Friend of mine ordered me a tequila shot (which I wasn't a fan of), and a drink that was vodka + cranberry juice.

The bar also sold something called an "Adios Motherfucker", which I didn't try, but anyone who has, is it any good?

They couldn't make bloody marys or blended grasshoppers, but, again, I wasn't sure what kind of bar this was, so that might explain it.

What kinds of things do you like to order in bars? Said friend has offered to take me out another time, and I did quite enjoy it, but I'm trying to get a list together of things I want to try, so I can at least fake-sound like I know what I'm talking about.

As a lot of you know, I am going on a trip to DC (in two months!!). And I was messing around with my itinerary and realized that one of the museums closed (Crime Museum).

So, I am looking for 2-3 things you would recommend I can do in DC or do anyplace outside of DC that I can travel to by public transportation.
