I still remember the wankfests over the forums if you sided with the elves, or something. Because "read the books, Geralt would never do that it's OOC". So why they give me that option in the first place?
Meeh I generally agree, it's a good game, just not the best thing ever. And I still take Dragon Age over it, if just for the possibility of customization of the warden/hawke... _{still it's sad that they decided to no longer allow player to choose a race. I understand why it's like that, but I'm still a bit bitter.}

IDK, it's kind of like Boy Meets World in a way? Like it was good, has its followers, but it's not really something that people tend to actively stan or promote, especially years after its cancellation. Sure, someone brings up Mr Feeney or the banana stand and the people who did watch it will whip out their nostalgia goggles, but it's not the same as something like Firefly (not to mention the whole sitcom vs scifi/fantasy fandom attitudes in general).

It really does take a revival of the series (i.e. the new Netflix season, Girl Meets World, etc), to make people crawl out of the woodwork and really talk about it again, so... yeah.

Short story = don't be pissed at your friends. Unlike other shows, old sitcoms don't tend to be brought up outside of directly relevant conversations.

Whenever I watch season 5 of New!Who, I imagine taking him out and testing him during Field Burning Time.

I would dress him in spud-and-cabbage clothes, and have a crew ready, so he'd never be in any real danger.

I find the gender essentialism (if I'm understanding the term correctly) really confusing. I want to have a male body, but I do not care how I dress. I would totally rock out skirts and cute tops even if I had a male body, and I now rock out traditionally male outfits and presentation with a female body.
