General comments:

FS Secret Santa?

If FS were to hold a Secret Santa type event, would you be interested in participating?

It would be primarily for fic/art/other fandomy things (giving out strangers' RL mailing addresses is kinda risky and all). And small fandomy things, like one sketch or a one-shot fic, nobody would be asking for a 100k novel! Unless you want to write someone a 100k novel.

There'd be a sign-up post where participants could list all the fandoms they'd be willing to write for/get gifts from, and everyone who signed up would get someone to gift for, etc. Unfortunately that'd mean anons can't play, as I'd be unable to tell which is which and one person could request 5 gifts and never give any, but everyone else would be welcome!

Let me know if there's interest!

I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the first time in a while and really enjoyed it.

Dealing with jealousy

Ok, so I learned something new about myself today: Apparently I'm turned on by SS (Straight Shota. Yeah.).

I find Regular Shota and Loli very, very troubling so far, so I can't understand why I would react differently when it's A grown woman and a young boy. I don't know if it makes it any better or worse, but for full disclosure I'm a man.

Needless to say I new regard myself as an absolute disgrace, but this is my problem.

My reasons for posting are twofold:

1. I'd be interested to hear other peoples shame. What do you like that you wish you didn't?
2. I'm kinda hoping for one or two comments telling me I'm not a creepy paedophile loser.

Personally, I think the hate she's getting here is ridiculous. To the majority, that woman is absolutely gorgeous. Is she the most beautiful woman of the world? Of course not, since there's plenty of other beautiful women out there. But you're completely narcissistic and delusional if you think that Megan Fox is by any means "ugly". (Feel free to misunderstand the difference between "not sexually appealing to me" and "ugly" though, as I'm sure many of you here will do.)

Also the double standards are laughable. If someone posted a secret hating on Adele's looks, people would be dogpiling the secret maker very quickly.

Personally I found it kind of trite and oblivious, especially since it seems to be entirely ignorant of a sizable section of society from working or lower class backgrounds.

Oldboy Remake

So having just recently (as in, the last year) seen Oldboy for the first time, unspoiled, and having a delightfully epic freakout at That Twist, I'm now seeing lots of press for the American/Josh Brolin remake and it is THE BEST. All I can do when he I see he or Elizabeth Olsen doing an interview for it is cackle. I don't have any desire to see the new movie but I'm eager for the new wave of "WTF!!" that will soon hit social media. :D
