Then... Those of you with some knowledge of american law enforcement history will know of the FBI Abscam. For those of you that don't: The FBI made a sting operation to find some corrupt businessmen. By complete serendipity, they found more. A lot more. Now as long as you don't mind the movie playing hard and fast with the rules, this is the story of people caught up in that sting who quickly get in way over their heads. AMERICAN HUSTLE.

An eon ago, I think I made a post about terrible stuff you have watched because of any actor you love (the things I do for you Fassbender). Let's go the other way. What are some shows/movies/games/books that you consumed because of an actor/creator that you thought were going to be terrible but you ended up really enjoying?

I started watching Political Animals for Sebastian Stan (I have a teeny crush). And I am on the third episode and actually really enjoying. I am a bit sad it only got one season.

I also watched Doom for Karl Urban and realized I LOVE that movie. It is cheesy and cliche but I still rewatch it every now and again.

(Sorry if I've missed a thread on this recently, I've been off FS for about a week)

Anyone else a hockey fan? I'm not a super-huge fan, but I did grow up watching hockey with my family, and got back into it last year. Since my family's from Montreal, I have a soft spot for the Canadiens, but my current team is the San Jose Sharks. I'm planning to hit up at least some of the playoff games at a sports bar once I'm less busy with life stuff next week.

Everyone I know is on out of town on vacation or has gone home to family since our university is on Easter break). I'm stuck here since I have severe laryngitis. This means I can't travel, and even if I wanted to I can't go home because then I'd just infect my relatives.

Normally, isolated from my family and friends, I call them. But I can't, because I have no voice. Having no voice fucking SUCKS. :( I can't spend time with anybody in RL, I can't go anywhere - hell, I can't even order comfort food.

So, please, FS, suggest some things I can do that do not require talking, other people, or getting out of bed. I'm going insane over here and am running out of things to watch and listen to -heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp.
