Okay, so... last shit stream was BAD. Too bad. I'll admit it. Either of those movies should have been tempered with something campier. more palatable "so bad it's good" and less "so bad time slowed down and this movie is going twice as long".

What are your proudest moments of getting someone else into a fandom? For me:

-Multiple people online have been seduced into Leverage by my talking about it, woo hoo!

-Got my mom into LotR

-was the sci-fi book dealer for all my friends. I've got this wall of bookshelves like filled with ST and SW tie-ins, along with many other sci-fi novels, so ever since high school I've been the one who would like sidle up to people and open up my coat "pssst...wanna borrow a paperback?"

Before I start a whole war over pirating, let me be clear that the song I want so bad is NOWHERE ELSE. I have checked every possible legal and illegal channel I could think of for days (it's an impressive list too) and still haven't found it. The only place I hear this song played in full is on youtube. I'll buy it when it is released, if it ever is. BUT I'M OBSESSED AND I NEED A MP3 OF IT NOW!!!!

I love OOC fic/art if it's that way for a plot reason. The contrast is what makes it extra fun.

I don't assume that everyone who likes OOC art or fic thinks that's the way the characters really are. I come across that view mostly in people new to fandom. And also in people, who to put it bluntly, aren't very smart.
