Intellectually I understand that men can be abused by their girlfriend and it can really be distressing for them just like with women.

But I still feel like if I ever saw or knew a guy who was abused by his girlfriend, I would be unable to stop myself from feeling vaguely amused by and contemptuous of his weakness.

This really bothers me.

Is anyone else besides me waiting until it is in the theater? We don't have it until Monday here. Usually I don't care about spoilers, but I'm waiting this time because I want the first time I see it to be in the theater. But the waiting is killing me already. Not sure how I'll make it to Monday night. I keep being tempted to go find reviews. And having to avoid Livejournal for the most part since so many of the communities I follow are Who-related.

I'm following someone who's very tumblr famous in her genre of blog. I actually like the specific niche of content she provides and she's the only one of that blogtype I follow.
BUT she's incredibly obnoxious. I think being tumblr famous kinda got into her head, because she reacts to the most reasonable of criticisms (for example her theme being completely unreadable being a very light gray font on a white background) with a smug "whatever loser" attitude and promptly has ten of her followers telling her to "just ignore the hater" and kissing her ass for being so awesome.
I've compromised by blacklisting her replies to messages but some of that stuff still creeps through and it's gotten to the point where I roll my eyes at everything that's not a photo post. Yet I can't convince myself to just click unfollow already...

How do you decide if you should unfollow someone?

Favorite Crossover Fics

Some how I ended up reading two looong crossover fics this week that I liked a lot.
First was Tony Stark Meets an Extremely Unimpressed Time Traveler, or, Thomas Barrow Makes a Surprisingly Good 21st Century Butler, which was a MCU/Downton Abbey Tony/Thomas crossover that seems crazy, but worked? I dunno why, but I enjoyed it even though about 45k of it was just Thomas planning a party.

Then I finally understood enough about SG-1 to read Airman Harris, a Buffy/Stargate Sg-1 crossover that definitely requires understanding of both universes to be enjoyable. (I tried reading it before I'd watched SG-1 and had no idea what was happening.) Also, the pairing is Daniel/Xander... which made a weird bit of sense in a way.

What are some of you guys' favorite crossover fics?

im the anon who told their good friend he was better off without me

he forgave me and we're still talking but things dont feel quite right, im pretty sure i messed it all up. ill try to fix everything and im struggling to not feel down about it all but at the very least im grateful hes still in my life

Need help with cat.

I have two female cats. The older one (11 yro)has been throwing up randomly for over a year and recently has started pooping all over the place (she has been using the litter box just fine up to this point). The vet has checked her out and pronounced her as 'fine' and the other one (the younger is 10 yro)has not been throwing up nor pooping randomly so we've determined it's not the food/drink.

Has anyone had a similar experience with their cat? I'm really concerned but don't know what else to do. Please help FS?
