Question about Travel Sites

Does anyone know of a place where people review or talk about a place that isn't where they live?

Like, I've looked at travel sites but they are often filled with locals who answer questions, but don't have a lot of feedback from non-locals about how much they liked a certain place. I guess, I'm looking for a more general place (like what Australians think of Mexico or what Brazilians think of Italy -- that kind of thing).

Shows get cancelled all the time, and some times I'm like 'bummer', sometimes 'eh it was it's time', and energy one in a while more 'dear network I'll hate you forever'

The ones that annoy my to this day are Firefly and Pushing Daisies. WHYYYUYY.

Do you think we're heading to a situation where you can no longer have all-white casts?

I mean, even for things like a faithful adaptation of Jane Austen.

I was thinking about the backlash against the Hobbit that there weren't any POC characters, and how because it was fantasy, there was no legitimate rationale for it. Also, any movie set in historical Europe invariably has arguments that Europe wasn't all-white, so POCs should be represented.

I'm sure all-white casts will continue for a while but, say in 50 or 100 years, would an all-white cast in a movie always have the critique that there should've been a POC somehow?

Am I being selfish/unfair?

There's a guy I've been seeing for a bit, and he's recently been really asking me to stay over for the night, and mentions that it gets lonely sleeping alone. So far I've been giving reasons why I can't do it; early morning next day, something I have to do back at home, etc., but the truth of the matter is I just don't want to do it. At all, or hopefully hardly ever.I like sleeping alone, I have trouble sleeping and I'm sensitive to things and like things being the perfect temperature and darkness and things. I also don't want to cuddle when I'm trying to sleep, and I don't want to wake up somewhere that's not my place, and I look bad in the morning and don't have all the morning things I need there with me. I've occasionally stayed over at a friend's place, but we're really close, and I still don't like doing that either.
So question. Am I being selfish and unfair about it? :( I know for most people staying the night is a big and intimate thing, and a relationship would be lacking without it. I also feel that it's douche-y when I leave after sex (I do stay to cuddle for as long as possible, I'm not totally horrible). Should I try to make an effort of staying some nights?
This is my first serious-ish relationship, so I'm not knowledgeable about a lot of stuff.

Old movies that didn't hold up

So, recently I realized I had never seen the Highlander movie. My partner was shocked because she had seen it when she was four and remembered it being "really awesome". Needless to say, we downloaded it and watched it pretty much immediately.

It was laughably bad. Incomprehensible physics, conversations that didn't seem to take place in reality, anachronisms everywhere, special effects that were bad even for the time period... oh and some of the worst acting I've seen in ages.

So, f!s tell me about the movies from your childhood that didn't seem as good in the light of adulthood.

Firefox advice?

So, few weeks back I installed the new version of Firefox on my desktop pc. This was long overdue, I was probably like 10 versions behind but whatever. Anyway, I'm fine with how it looks, but the damn thing keeps crashing and I have no idea why. The old version didn't. I wanted to update my laptop's version too, but now I'm sort of scared. Any idea what could cause this, because I have no clue. Never had this issue with any browser before.

Lines that ruin a fic for you

I was reading a fun fic about Steve (Rogers) reading fanfic, and getting frustrated at the technical inaccuracies more than the pairings. So, you know, cute.

Then we get to someone saying that Steve Rogers must be "demisexual". Strike one.

Strike two? The person saying it is Tony Stark. Because Tony Stark would know what demisexuality is, and would be the one to speculate that Steve is demisexual.

Anyone else read a fic recently that was good until one line?

Due to some furiously shitty circumstances beyond her control (I'll be happy to lay it out for anyone curious, but you might be sorry you asked, it's that bad) she needs to turn this thing into cash ASAP. This is SF Bay area so if you're nearby you might want to just go pick it up; shipping is an option, but it will cost extra because my friend simply cannot take on the shipping costs.
