What are your fears, FS? Beyond the obvious 'something happening to my loved ones.' And when I say legitimate fears, I'm mean not things like lion attacks (unless you live near an area where there are wild lions, or are truly afraid of going to the zoo because you think a lion will escape and attack you), or being dropped in a pit of snakes, etc.

Mine is home invasion. Not something anyone wants to happen, but I feel like I spend way too much time thinking about it. And on a more paranoid level, I'm really afraid that some time I'll get called for jury duty and it will be a grisly murder case.

What album has the highest ratio of good songs?

What album has in your opinion the highest amount good songs (no compilation albums or greatest hits)? Most albums tend to have filler material that I skip, so the less crappy songs, the better return for my money.

For me those would be Michael Jackson's Thriller and Kate Bush's The Kick Inside, since I love every song on those albums. Bad is a close follower with only one "fast forward" song (Speed Demon).

Movie/Show/Book/Game that you got all wrong

So, I realized with Secret #1 that Castle is not all what I thought it was about. I thought it was about a sci-fi writer and just...the life of a writer.

The only reason I can figure for this misconception is that the only scenes I ever saw were GIFs focusing on Firefly/Serenity references. And I don't recall ever seeing like...cops and such.

I like to read the comments to the secrets without looking at the secrets and figure them out from context clues.

Do you do anything unusual? Do you comment or submit secrets in a strange way?

Normal vs abnormal social behavior

What are times or instances where you adopt or adhere to a behavior or kind of thinking that's totally acceptable in your predominant social circle, that wider society might think of as pathological?

I'll give an example of mine: sacrificing your own comfort, resources, etc with no other motive than love or duty, and never with the intent to recoup the cost later, is seen as selfless and admirable where I was raised.

This has been such a strong narrative in my life that it informs my life choices well into my 20s, in spite of living outside of my birth community for almost 10 years. But in wider society, this is largely seen as a victim or martyr complex, and generally seen as either pathological or manipulative.

(I can assure you it's none of that. It's very common behavior where I come from, but it's from a rural community standpoint that uses the duty perspective rather than social exchange theory as primary method of interaction.)
