I feel for you, OP. I am a film/video editor, and 3D is becoming a huge, huge thing. 3D gives me debilitating migraines. If it moves to mainstream, I'll be screwed. Down with 3D!

It's interesting that you feel this way, I find it more fulfilling to closely associate my fantasies and fics with people I know. I agree about changing names but who they are is what makes the stories more enjoyable to me. I have no idea of how old you are, but for me, I'm over 30 and my friends are of the same age. If they were to read my fics they would never comment on them. I imagine some would be flattered and a few of my friends might even get off on it. I don't think their reactions would be the same if we were much younger though, I'd probably lose friends and end up a hermit. I hope that makes sense. It seems that this stuff gets less inhibited as I grow older. So many of us want an escape, and we keep our fantasies inside. When we were younger we were so cruel to each other, yet as we grow older we all realize how much flattery and attraction means to us.

I'm going to assume that the OP is serious about this statement and proceed from there. I've actually not read any fic involving the rape of Damian. I'm not saying that it isn't out there, it is. (There's fic for anything you could look for... I once stumbled across a Hagrid/Dobby fic in the HP fandom.) I haven't read it because I'm not in favor of it and a lot of people don't write him in a sexual manner at all. There is such a thing as gen fic and many of his fans, and fans of the Bat Family in general, include him exclusively in those. You don't have to be a pedo to like him.

(There are also a lot of writers who write future!fic involving him, so that he's an adult in their stories.)
