They canceled Young Justice for a sketch comedy show run by Nick C. and a cartoon about the world's magical 'grandpa uncle'. I didn't really like the second season of YJ, but really?

Because not everyone has the good luck to see the best parts of a show when they're first exposed to it. Sometimes, you just happen to check it out when a really crappy or contextually confusing episode is playing on TV. Or other bad first impression experiences too.

Anyone have experiences like this? (doesn't have to be just TV shows).

Aidan, Braden, Caden, Hayden, Jaden, Kaden, Zayden (I know Aidan is a legit Irish name, but all the rhyming crap has kind of ruined it)

Braelyn, Kailyn, Kailyn, Raelynn
Braylee, Caylee, Hayleigh, Jaylee, Kaylee, Kayleigh
Cadence, Kadence, Kaydense

Or Mc/MacAnything on a girl, because it's something that comes from Irish and Scottish surnames and I think it means "son of..." And it makes it sound like you bought your kids at McDonalds.

And no, it's not clever to actually use "Danger" as you child's middle name.

And naming your son Blade, Gunner, Killer, or Manly Penis McWeaponson will not make him into a super-manly warrior guy. He'll probably go up to be an accountant or a cashier at Burger King.

Nor does spelling a name in a weird way make it "unique." Your little Braeghdynn will not stand out among the Bradens, Braedyns, Braydens, Braylyns, Aidens, and Caydens.

Oh, and Nevaeh should really mean Hell, since it's Heaven in reverse. If you can't just call her Heaven or something that means that, name her Lleh.

Recs for the old DCU comics

I'm interested in reading DC comics (I've only read Marvel so far) and from everything I've heard and every sample I've checked out (and I've heard and sampled a lot), I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in the nu52 relaunch.

So, does anyone have recs for good storylines set in the pre-reboot, post-Crisis DCU? I have no specific character preferences, but I'd like to start with the more central and famous characters as an intro to familiarize myself with the universe. So Superman, Batman, Batfamily, Wonder Woman, the Titans, the Justice League and their members, good crisis crossovers...any of that kind of stuff?

Documentary recs?
