Seems to me that a few years ago, people in fandom were pretty okay and non-judgemental about kinks except for the most sex-negative 'feminist'.

At those point that's changed back and now even otherwise reasonable people can't stop complaining about how problematic dubcon or s/s are.

So I'm dicking around the other day and start rewriting bits of my favorite musical to be about my latest fandom. Then today I find out someone already did that.

I was also playing with a "major general song" because I like to torture myself. But apparently that's also been done.

So, f!s, have you ever run into a fandom that made you think "holy shit, these people are as deranged as I am", and if so, which one(s)?

I like games, especially fantasy games. What ones in this genre do you think are the best?

I loved Dragon Age and Dragon Age 2, and the Elder Scrolls series (I wanted to be critical of Skyrim just because it was overhyped, but I loved it as much as Oblivion. Don't remember the story at all, but who plays ES for the story? haha). I'm currently playing Demon Souls... a couple years too late, and then am going to brave Dark Souls after that.

Medical Advice

Something is wrong with my foot. Its fine when I'm laying in bed unless I move it the wrong way. Then I get shooting pain from the middle of my foot up into my ankle. But I get even worse pain if I put any weight on it. Its not a muscle problem, and I didn't twist my ankle or anything. I can't figure out what is going on or what I can do.

My doctor isn't open on the weekend, so I have to weight until tomorrow to go. But its reached the point where I'm not even sure I could walk to the subway to get to my doctor.

Any suggestions?
