Vampires and space

Are there any sci fi series that go into how vampires fare in space? Or how the "anti sunlight" thing is dealt with around other stars that aren't our Sun and therefore technically do not produce "sunlight"? Presumably they wouldn't impact vampires the same way.

Hillary Clinton and the theft of the last Presidential First

Lets break it down. If Hillary wins the presidency then she steals the last presidential first from Black people. If the presidency goes to her it goes to a middle aged white woman, and if a black woman manages to get elected as president -probably long after at least another couple of middle aged white women- she will always have to be remembered as the first black female president instead of the first female president. Hillary Clinton, despite her active leadership in black rights, is taking the last opportunity to have a presidential first away.

Send a message that this is not acceptable, that black people are prepared to tough it out until the Democrats put a black woman as candidate so that when they talk in the future about the first woman president, it is the white woman that has to take the qualifying label of first white female president.

The Joker (DCAU version) versus Benton Fraser. All I can remember is the Joker getting angrier and angrier because Fraser is just so polite and unflappable all the damn time and he can't even get his angry scowl.

What's the most petty fandom-related thing you've ever done?

I'm a large contributor to a small fandom. I make fanart, post scans, do translations, etc. This one girl followed me. She's a pretty vocal fan, although she produces no content, and she's friends with some of my friends. Because of how much I contribute to the fandom, she followed me on both tumblr and twitter.

However, I found out that she shipped a pairing in /another/ fandom that I absolutely despise, so I decided to block her on both tumblr and twitter, so she can no longer reblog or retweet anything I post. I didn't tell a soul why I blocked her.

For the cherry on top, she ended up complaining on her blog about me, and her friends actually turned on her and told her she was being immature and that I was well within my rights to block her for whatever reason since those were my personal accounts. They even called her a moocher since she never provides any fan content.

So, yeah, not the most mature thing I've done. What about you guys?

Pokémon Go

So, an update came out for the game. While some cool stuff was added (you can re-customize your character with more color options, favorite Pokémon can't be accidentally transferred) they completely removed tracking. It has been bugged for a while but for now it is gone.

So thanks for the big 'fuck you' to rural players especially.

Help me pick out fish

So a presumed raccoon came through our yard last week, raided our half whiskey barrel water garden, and ate all or nearly all of our mosquito fish, so now the barrel is full or mosquito larvae. I put a decorative metal grate over the barrel and it seems to have stopped the masked bandit. When I went to get more mosquito fish, the store was nearly out and they gave me four tiny fry that are almost the same size as the bigger larvae, which I haven't seen since and which haven't made an appreciable dent in the mosquito population.

So until the store restocks mosquito fish, should I get a betta (which might explode from overeating since apparently mosquito larvae are their favorite food, but I'd only be able to keep one) or a couple of goldfish (which are messy crappers and don't necessarily prefer larvae, but I could keep three or four)? I live in southern California and have kept bettas in unheated tanks, goldfish do fine outside here but can get 6-8 inches long and live a long time.
