Making friends online can be tough, especially if you're shy and have trouble starting conversations. I can't really offer any advice about how to make friends on Tumblr, since I haven't quite figured the trick out myself. Most of the people I talk to on there are ones I already know through other sites. :/

As far as your art goes, I'd say go ahead and post it, if you feel comfortable sharing? You may get some great comments and mean friends that way.

Hmm . . . I think Paksenarrion had short hair, but she might not be what you'd consider feminine.

Edit: Oh, I've got one! Alanna from Song of the Lioness! She initially represses her more feminine traits, but she develops into a more complex character over time, and I think I recall her keeping her hair short.

The trick is that Sully's supposed to be creepy enough to scare kids, but not so creepy they can't sell plushies of him to those same kids. The chameleon, whatever his name is, is just supposed to be creepy.

(On a tangent, my mother owns one of those plushies. She maintains that it looks like my father, although I can't see the resemblance.)

They wouldn't be as annoying if they only appeared every so often instead of every year. I wish they'd take at least a year off for other villains, even if Moffat has to bring back some of the classic villains (much to his chagrin).

How different would things have really been, though? His issues with being a bastard didn't stem solely from her, it's the way the whole society treats him. He admired Benjen because of his choices and decided to take the black because of that. His early life would probably have been a good bit better if they'd had a less unpleasant relationship, but I don't see that making such a difference to his choices. He was attracted to the honor of the Knight's Watch and its willingness to recognize people of whatever background. But that wasn't directly related to Catelyn.

I'll say what I've said on similar secrets in the past: fandom interest often runs in cycles. It could be that you're losing interest in active fandom (and there's nothing wrong with that if it's the case) or it could be that you're having a period where you're less interested and/or need a breather and you'll regain interest in fandom a few years down the road.
