So you wish he had your pet diagnosis rather than somebody else's pet diagnosis, such as autism or ASPD? Why can't he have SPD and be asexual also?

What I'm really asking is, why is your interpretation more valid? Many psychological disorders, as well as non-disordered personality quirks and lifestyles and choices, have overlapping characteristics and symptoms.

From what I hear, that sort of thing is rather common. One of my favorite published authors deliberately based a character on a TV character - and told the actor she was doing it. It probably helped she wrote a couple of episodes for the TV series, but still. The character in her novel's name is a not so clever anagram of the actor's name. Do I love the novel? Oh, yes. It's a lot of fun. Was the actor pleased? From what I hear, he loved her stories - all of it, not just the TV eps she wrote for his series, but most of her (rather large) body of work.

I don't find him attractive at all, to be honest. Well, he was cute in Harry Potter, but since Twilight he's always just looked so...messy. And not in a good way.

Anyway, I hated his acting in Twilight (but then I hate all the characters of Twilight, so that may not be his fault), but since I've only seen him in one other movie (which I can't even remember the name of), I can't really attest to his acting ability.

And I agree, by the way. On one hand, it's the best mistake he's ever done. Dude is filthy popular because of it. On the other hand, though, I doubt many people-- Twilovers and Twihaters alike-- are able to separate Edward Cullen from Rob Pat. =/

It's comforting to know I'm not the only one that's gotten tired of getting a personal history lesson with every (or every other) review. Yes, it was horrifying; yes, it shouldn't have happened/people shouldn't be like that; yes, you've overcome and gone on to do really cool things and that's great... but really? Every time? Can we not just talk about the show/book/whatever for a while? :/

And after typing that sentence, I decided to make a quick trip over to Google to pull up some actual proof. Because my simply saying it does not make it so - I may have remembered incorrectly, I might have been making an ass of myself.

Okay, see, now I can't stop imagining that everyone who goes to Silent Hill is just stoned out of their gourds and are actually running around a perfectly normal town, freaking out every time they run into the townspeople. Pyramid Head as the local cop trying to get this lunatic away from people, James running into a hospital and freaking out all the nurses, squirtgunning people and shrieking obsenities...

Man sometimes I feel weird for never ever doing that. I actually prefer to play characters that are characters on their own and look nothing like me because it's WEIRD when oh god some character that looks like me doesn't sound or act or move like me and is doing all these things I wouldn't do and is hero of the world or something. /plays all bioware games with defaults, man (Also thinking about writing fic of a character or shipping them or something when it looks like me is EVEN WEIRDER.)
