Well, it all depends on how you phrase it, I suppose. There is a difference between "Let's go exercise together, it'll be fun!" and "You all should really exercise." Personally, I think if its something you like to do, you should have no problems with inviting your friends to do it with you, but as always, use tact.

If you go to a con and actually get the chance to interact with the boys at THAT level (not just as a face in the crowd,) it would mean you've spent a decent amount of money on it. I'm not sure what the boys think of that but at least they'd know, "this person spent good money to meet us so they must have a source of income. Which means they have a life and not spending all their time on fandom."

This happens a lot to me as well :DDD Not the same band/songs, but my personal Pokemon soundtrack is Bowling for Soup. I heard a Panic At The Disco song while reading Howl's Moving Castle (um a young adult fantasy novel?) and whenever I hear their songs I think of the book.
