Many of the games I know the most about (Silent Hill for instance), I have only watched through Let's Plays. And one of the guys I watch only because I really like his voice. I'll put his Let's Plays on while I am doing other stuff because I enjoy it so much.

Microsoft will put covert advertising anywhere to sell its products. And Elementary isn't the first show to do this--Scandal and Burn Notice have done this.

(Meanwhile, a lot of the Burn Notice cast has iProducts, ha.)

Seriously, why is it so hard to just call it something else? Drabbles are 100-word stories; if it's got more or less call it a snippet, a ficlet, *anything* -- you wouldn't call any randomly metered poem a sonnet, either.

But... Mikasa is not a love interest? At least at this point in the story, there's no indication that their relationship goes beyond brother and sister. I suppose it MIGHT go that way, but I honestly don't see any sexual tension between them at all right now. Mikasa seems to have an obsession with family, not with getting laid.

I don't like this school of thought. That internet friends can't be real friends, or "real" anything. Because it leads to this: if everyone on the internet is only numbers and nicknames, it doesn't matter what you say to them. You can be friends, and it won't matter. You can also say the most vile, evil, nasty, hurtful things... you could bully and harass "users" past their breaking point... and it won't matter. It can't, because they aren't "real," you'll never meet them, and it's "only the internet." Therefore, there is no reason to care.

Ask your mother if she agrees with that, too. If she doesn't, maybe she should think about it.

On the one hand, this headcanon is very sweet and cute.

On the other hand... hahaha lol :'D I canT??? I'm literally laughing aloud and I don't even know why?? there is nothing funny about being shot in the head.

Still, yeah. Awesome explanation. Me, I'm a fan of the franchise and have seen all the more or less popular adaptations, but this I couldn't get through. The very first episode induced in me a fit of such secondhand embarrassment that I quit. Coming from somebody who watched Sherlock the film without batting an eye, this must surely mean something. [though I absolutely do not mean to argue with the fans of Bruce-Rathbone. Different strokes for different folks]

I'm currently reading this and I don't like it. I can't quite explain why. But it doesn't help that people are currently creaming themselves over it proclaiming that it's a true fandom testament, when it isn't. At least not for me.

I wish the mod of that community would get banned from promoting here and on LJ. That mod doesn't read community rules and posts that long RP graphic and blurb everywhere. That mod's even posted at fandom_on_dw twice despite amadi clearly stating only fannish things on DW are allowed in that comm.

And all this promo for a RP community that's on InsaneJournal. It's driving me mad.
