On a related note, after Downton won the National Television Award over Doctor Who, Merlin and Sherlock the DowntoWn Abbey tag was pretty hilarious because a lot of angry fans from the other fandoms also thought the show was called DowntoWn Abbey.

There are some really great creepypasta tumblrs, though. The SCP Foundation one, for example. Maybe look up tags for specific creepypastas (Ben Drowned, Dead Bart) instead of creepypasta in general?

People really just need to get over the fact that some people hate-watch, I get that some people dislike negativity in fandom but whining about it won't really stop it.

I really just can't stand the attitude of "there can't be criticism about this show I love, EVER!" Like if you want to have happy fan times, fine, stay out of episode reviews then because you know things will not always be happy. Even when I still like a show sometimes I like deconstructing it and hearing about what people may not have liked.

And in regards to hate-watching for myself, sometimes I do it because I'm waiting for the show to turn around or in some series yes I really do want to see how it ends (god damnit introduce the Mother already HIMYM...)

Oh, lol. I liked that the movie wasn't a typical zombie survival movie. I thought it was a really fun take on the genre by putting the survivalists in the BG and telling it from the zombies' POV while making it a love story.

Was it a perfect movie? No.

But I thought it was a LOT of fun.

Oh no! A type of media that allows people to be partially original in their character creation while still enjoying the community of a fandom! what shall we DO??

get over yourself. Some of those fanfics may suck but so do most of the rest of fanfiction in the internet and beyond. Writing a canon character doesn't automatically equal writing them in-character. The percentage of people who will write a well-balanced original protagonist is the exact same percentage as the one of people who can write in-character fanfiction.
