I never thought they wore glitter nail polish. I think it's just how their nails look during their transformation. I think after all that bright shinning light, the nail polish looks like an opaque color. But I guess that doesn't matter. As long as you're having fun looking like a senshi!

I looked up the author. There's a copy of his book Wake Up, Sir! prominently displayed at my local library, but the cover blurb scared me off. Other than Bored to Death, which I think I read a review of once, I've never heard of anything else he's written.

Good people are good people, regardless of their place in the systems they're placed in? I guess? Is what I would say? He doesn't stop being a clever, intelligent, kind man simply because he happens to be an incredibly wealthy aristocract. I mean, yes, death to the aristocracy, but that doesn't mean that every individual aristocrat is guilty.

Er, there's nothing wrong with you. Being attracted to the pain and suffering of people you're attracted to isn't weird/wrong (unless you ACTUALLY hurt people IRL in order to experience it). I'd always thought it was one of the most common/widely publicised kinks, especially in fandom places.

IDGAF about the 'slow healing process' either (that's why I like Doctor!whump, given that he's always back on his feet in pretty short order), although I sometimes like it for the relationships with other characters.

We're expecting it to be as good as it used to be. I don't think that's "expecting too much".

But seriously -- the main reason people bitch about it so much isn't that the last two seasons were bad (even though they were, in many people's opinion), but due to the fact that Moffat split season 6 in half and aired the halves months apart, delayed the season 7 premiere six months, and split that in half across several months with a rather game-changing Christmas special between the two halves. It's a perfect recipe for heightened wank.
